Lee comments on teachings by Theravadan master Ajahn Sumedho about embracing all experience in meditation. There is nothing to reject, nothing to judge. Ajahn particularly asks us to welome our moods which color our perceptions. How do we respond to our moods? Simply acknowledge, "it's like this."
Lee directs us to befriend our thoughts, which are like our companions on the path. Companions can be of great support, or can lead you astray. At times, you don't even need them.
