Fall Class – Walking the Bodhisattva Path Together
This class explores the Way of the Bodhisattva as an expression of Mahayana Buddhism.
Central to Soto Zen practice, the Bodhisattva Way focuses on compassion and Shantideva’s instruction supports our practice directly. This fall, as we study Shantideva’s Guide to the Bodhisattva’s Way of Life, we will meet on Tuesday evenings to explore through reading, discussion, and practical application how to use this Guide in our everyday lives and relationships.
We will be using Pema Chödrön’s book Becoming Bodhisattvas (previously published as No Time to Lose) as our primary text.
We will meet on Zom from 7:30–9:00 on eight Tuesday evenings, from October 4th to November 22nd.
